Dr. Johnston is our Medical Director and surgeon at The KAAWS Clinic Aldine Westfield location. A Dallas native, Dr. Johnston attended Oklahoma State University for veterinary school.

After graduation, she was stationed in Cheyenne, WY, and Washington, DC, with the United States Air Force. Upon leaving the Air Force she practiced veterinary medicine in Amarillo, TX for 2 years before relocating to Houston.

Dr. Johnston is hosting a foreign exchange student from Finland, Lotta, who also aspires to be a veterinarian. Her home is a menagerie of cats, dogs, and a bearded dragon all with Harry Potter names except her newest puppy addition Mark.
